The Springfield Mayor’s Day at Baltusrol, Inc. Committee thanks you for participating in the 2020 golf tournament. The result of your generosity and that of Baltusrol Golf Club made it possible to donate a substantial sum to the Jonathan Dayton High School Scholarship Fund in 2020. This year, TWENTY-FIVE deserving students will each receive $1,000 to help toward their formal education in June.

We are very fortunate to have been given a date for the Tournament in 2021. As many of you know, the Lower Course was closed in 2020 and now that it has been refurbished you will be one of the first groups to play on the newly renovated Lower Course! We are limited to 120 players on the Lower Course and will have 80 openings available on the Upper Course should the lower course fill up or should you prefer the Upper Course. We will try to fairly allocate foursomes, but will only do so upon receipt of your completed form and payment.

This year’s tournament will be held on TUESDAY, July 6, 2021 on both the Lower and Upper Courses of Baltusrol Golf Club.

We will have a shotgun start on the Lower course at 11:45 am and the shotgun start on the Upper course will be at 12:15 pm. The details are noted below. We will process your request on a first come, first served basis, giving priority to those groups that have supported us for many years. Please don’t delay in sending in your form and check if you want to play in 2021.

Baltusrol will have a strict walking only policy on the Lower Course as it will be brand new. On the Upper Course we will have our normal policy in place, which is that if someone has a medical reason and doctors note for a cart we will permit them to use one. If you need a cart, please book the Upper Course. The fee for the cart is $75 which is charged to the Committee by the Club and can be included in your payment.

Please fill out the Mayor’s Day Participation Form and forward it as soon as possible.

We will not guarantee your request but we will try our best. We will be limited to 120 players.  It is very important to return all forms with payment no later than August 18, 2020 in order to reserve your foursome. PLEASE NOTE OUR PO BOX NUMBER 242. We will reserve your course choice as we receive your check and application.

Please fill in the player’s names on the sign form as well.

In the event you have any questions, contact Scott Seidel at (973) 376-0421, Dr. Gary Hecht at 973-564-5885 or Joel Millman at 908-803-4747, Monday through Friday during normal business hours. We thank you for your participation in the past and we look forward to hearing from you in the very near future.

The cost is $2,400.00 per foursome. (PLEASE SEND ONE CHECK FOR EACH FOURSOME YOU REQUEST) Each Foursome receives a sign sponsorship and each player receives their initial six raffle tickets at check in.

The day will begin at 9:45 a.m. Brunch will be served until 12:00 pm in the club house area. Lower course Foursomes will leave the clubhouse area at approximately 11:30 a.m. for their designated starting hole, teeing off at 11:45 a.m.

Upper course Foursomes will leave the clubhouse area at approximately 12:00 p.m. for their designated starting hole, teeing off at 12:15 p.m.
